Micro-Needling, or CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) is used to tighten lift and rejuvenate the skin as well as treat fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks and surgical and acne scarring. At HBA we use a class 1 FDA registered device. Indications are general dermabrasion, scar revision, acne scar revision and tattoo removal. The therapy uses needles to pierce the skin in a controlled and precise pattern creating micro injuries to the skin, thus stimulating new collagen production. This collagen production is encouraged by the body’ s innate ability to re-grow and repair itself. Recovery periods are minimal, however, this is an ablative treatment. Multiple treatments are needed to acquire best outcomes, generally at 4-6 week intervals.

Collagen Booster W/ Exosomes Options:

You  may elect to have a plant-based exosome & collagen booster applied to your treatment (this contains plant-based exosome with either a 4% or an 8% retinol solution). Adding the booster will likely increase the downtime post treatment.
